Hello,
i'm new to this area and am looking for other RC enthusiasts. Although I don't currently have a 1/18th scale car, I have many 1/10 touring and race cars, go karts,and quite a few drift cars as well. In addition, I have a few rock crawlers, off road trucks/rock racers, etc. I would like to visit your club on a race night to see the current class of racing, however, I am also looking for others who also like to drift or want to learn drifting in order to start a drift club. I have found an indoor location (east side of SJ) which offers rooms with hardwood and polished concrete floors and is available for use for drifting or racing. I am currently in the process of getting more RC type plastic marking cones and large plastic discs(mainly for drifting) and other track marking materials for creating drifting and racing tracks and will be ready to go in a few weeks.
If anyone is interested in getting together for some drifting or wants to try drifting, I have a couple of cars that I let newbies learn on and would be happy to teach what I know. Not saying I'm an expert driver, but I know a little about drifting and have built over 15 drift cars so I am very experienced in building and repairing cars.
