Let's vote on our track surface. - We have a tarp that is a great size to allow us to make the road courses we enjoy with impressive straight away speeds. It doesn't have much traction though.
- Phil/Scott have access to the felt from the paper mill. If we can find a good way to join the pieces together this may be a perfect surface. It seemed to have medium/low traction.
- Moncton will be selling their used carpet in a month or so. It is well used and may only have a few years left in it. It is almost as big as the tarp. It seemed to have medium/high traction.

Concensus is that the club would like a track with better grip than the tarp. We are hoping to buy the Moncton carpet when it becomes available.

Any idea of when the Moncton carpet will be available? I'm assuming once they finish their raffle for the HPI, but that's just a guess.

Has any one ever tried using Geo-textil fabric as a racing surface? I will try and get a small piece for a trial.
