Series Points Scoring
Points are scored using the LiveTime lap counting software where:
- 1st is 100
- 2nd is 97
- 3rd is 95
- 4th is 94
- 5th is 93 …
- and continues to decrease by 1 point until the last racer.
TQ gives an extra 2 pts. A TQ is denoted with the ** on the point score for the race.
The top 4 points per racer will be used to make their total score. 2 scores will be dropped from the 6 race series
In case of any discrepancy in points, the track computer with livetime scoring is final
If there is a tie in points:
- the Livetime system will be used to break ties
- if there is a tie after all of the finish orders have been reviewed the tie will be broken by the flip of a coin (which proves the overall winner also has the best luck).
